I have found that most of the time is mom time, but scheduling your day with a
small child is the best way to emotionally gain your confidence after having a
child. Always put your baby down for a nap and bed at the same time. Even if they
don’t fall right to sleep, make it the same time every night.
On trips away from home, make sure that you reinforce the nap time and bedtime. If
you are in a situation where there is not a bed readily available, make sure you
reiterate the words of nap time and then hold your child and bedtime.
If you can, take a nanny or extra person to help you so that you can have that free
time away from home as well.
