I came up with a way of introducing my daughter to new foods when she was
younger. She was intimidated if I put something in front of her that she
didn’t like and asked her to eat it. Our deal was that she had to taste it.
If she didn’t like it she could spit it out. I can’t think of the number
of times that she tasted something and ended up asking for more. Children
are little adults with tastes in food just like us parents. She was only
forced to taste but not to eat. I believe this left her more open to try
