Stopping a Toddler Tantrum

My toddler can get frustrated easily when he is not able to do something, either
motor skill related or because I have said no. This frustration can quickly escalate
into a tantrum. The one thing that works to ward off the tantrum is to have him
count. We first counted to 10 but he became pretty fast at that, so we have added
more numbers in increments of 10. Although we are up to 100 it works most of the
time to calm him down before he melts down.
