Getting Kids to Choose Healthy Snacks

We keep a copy of the Food Guide Pyramid with pictures inside our pantry door.  When my kids get hungry they simply open the door and point to what they are hungry for. They know if they have already had dairy, they go for produce, or if they’ve had lot’s of bread that day, they choose a different food category.  It keeps our diet well balanced.
